Quick and Efficient Evaluations and Referrals

At Smoky Hill Foundation For Chemical Dependency, Inc-Outpatient Treatment, we are licensed by Alcohol and Prevention Services of Kansas (AAPS) to provide Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Program (ADSAP) evaluations for DUI offenders, and Alcohol and Drug (A&D) evaluations for alcohol or drug-related criminal charges and custody disputes.

Evaluations consist of an oral interview and the administration and interpretation of standard diagnostic tools. Results of evaluations, including recommendations and referrals are reported to referring authorities.

Individual Sessions

Individual counseling at Smoky Hill Foundation includes individual sessions by appointment for those who are unable to attend group counseling sessions due to work, family obligations or specific individual needs.

Peer Mentoring

Peer mentoring services provide support and assistance to enhance recovery goals, especially for those new to recovery that are lacking a healthy support system. The certified peer mentor is in sustained recovery and is familiar with community resources to help with maintaining a healthy lifestyle while receiving treatment.

Gaming Addiction

Our Gaming Addiction Treatment Program is an outpatient service designed to support individuals affected by excessive gaming. The program offers a structured approach to help participants understand the psychological and emotional aspects of gaming addiction, while providing education on its impact on daily life.

Gambling Addiction

Our Gambling Addiction Treatment Program is an outpatient service tailored to address the unique needs of individuals struggling with gambling addiction. This program offers structured support and education on the nature of gambling addiction, its impact on life, and the essential steps in recovery.

Groups

Women’s Group

Our Women's Group Program is an outpatient treatment program designed to meet the specific needs of the chemically dependent female. The program is structured to provide education on various aspects of the disease of addiction and the recovery process.

Men’s Group

The Primary Outpatient Program provides treatment in a group setting two days per week for a period of approximately 12 weeks. This structured program combines educational sessions on various aspects of the disease of addiction, recovery, group therapy and is open-ended.

Classes

YES Program

The Youth Education Safety Program (YES) is designed for youth who have been identified as having some degree of involvement with using alcohol, tobacco or other drugs, but whose use has been evaluated to be at an early stage.

ADIS

Alcohol/Drug Information School (ADIS) classes are offered bi-monthly at Smoky Hill Foundation For Chemical Dependency, Inc-Outpatient Treatment.These classes consist of videos, oral presentations and guest speakers. The content of the classes fulfills the requirements of the courts for DUI offenders

Outreach Counseling Services

Smoky Hill Foundation also provides outreach services in Phillips County and Thomas County to better serve Northwest Kansas. Services include:
